Dr. Biles’ lifelong passion for learning has contributed to his success and love of orthopedics and taking care of patients. Through his community outreach, he has donated his time and resources to area schools, the community, and local rodeo events for his entire practice. He is a member of the Justin Sports Medicine Orthopedic staff which covers the PRCA and Extreme Bulls rodeos during the Stampede over the 4th of July in Cody.

Giving Back to the Community

Dr. Biles believes in giving back to the community. He and his Physician Assistants have been on the sidelines for football games since he started his practice in Cody in 1987. He hired the second Certified Athletic Trainer in Wyoming in 1989. He has provided Certified Athletic Trainers to area schools free of charge to area schools since that time. Becca Knaff MS, ATC has been with Yellowstone Sports Medicine since 2005. She is a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer for the Cody School District and covers athletic teams in Cody and travels with the teams to “away” games all over Wyoming. During the summer, Becca Knaff, ATC provides support for summer sport camps throughout the area.

Dr. Biles believes that staying Strong allows people to stay active and lead a healthier life. He created the Yellowstone Sports Medicine workout facility in 2003. Randy Smith is the head strength coach for the facility. Yellowstone Sports Medicine also donates Randy’s time to the Cody School System where he is a Football Coach. Randy played football at Webber State and thoroughly enjoys working with Area athletes.

Dr. Biles allows and encourages athletes, military personnel, and law enforcement to work out free of charge in the Yellowstone Sports Medicine Workout Facility.
